1 star 2021 'Dramatically elderflower in aroma, with some marked muskiness. One's first sip shrieks of rhubarb acidity. Just a hint of actual rhubarb presence beyond the oxalic acid follows, and serves to dry out the sweetness swirling round the palate. We'd have liked more rhubarb presence to balance the elderflower headiness, more earthiness and clear rhubarb character. There's also a rather bitter note as the palate progresses, referencing neither of the two. Elderflower notes too return on the finish, however, which is pleasing. We feel this would make a good mixer with prosecco, but are less sure of its balance and delight as a drink in itself.'

Add to G and Ts or make a spritzer with soda water or sparkling white wines.
